  • Look Inside

Two patients with simple glaucoma had isopters variations every other day-one day extensive and contracted the next. The author measured the diurnal variations in the intra-ocular pressure, systolic and diastolic blood pressure of the brachial artery and the central retinal artery, tonography, ocular rigidity, pulsation, respiration and isopters over a period of more than 10 days. The isopters extended most widely when the phasic varia-tion of ocular tension was great. In such days, the coefficient (the ratio of blood pre-ssure to intraocular pressure) increased marke-dly, when intraocular tension feel rapidlyand noticably.
