双生児の一対に見られた共働性内斜視例

The case of concomitant esotropia observed in twin couple.

　共働性斜視の遺伝に関しては1845年Boehmによつて最初に報告され注目される様になつたが，詳細は今日猶不明の点が多い。

　1卵性双生児は遺伝質を全く等しくしているから遺伝の力を測定するのに好んで用いられている。一方双生児研究によつて解る事は，ただ遺伝の影響と環境の影響との比だけであり，遺伝形式については全く教える所がないと述べている人もある。

The case of concomitant esotropia observed in identical twin couple was reported as follows :

This case was observed in a 6 years old twin girls with both having monocular esotropia in the left eye which was caused about 2 years after their birth. Their squint eye condition was very much alike and close resemblance was observed even to the fingerprint, palm-print and blood type. They were both cured after same type of operation was performed and same post operation progress was experienced.
