（23）老人性内反応に対する私の手術法

Senile entropion and its surgical treatment.

　眼瞼内反症に対する手術法は従来より種々行われ数え上げる逞がない程である。併しそのうちの老人性内反症に対してわ方法が簡単で且再発のないと云うよい方法はあまり見受けない。私は病院の性質上老人性内反症に接する機会が多く初めわその再発に困却していた。最近満足し得る手術を考案したので御報告致し皆様の御批判をいただきたいと思う。

For surgical treatment of senile entropion,the author devises a method for plastic sur-gery by which the redundant skin in the orbicular area of the eye is partly removed.

The results are reported to be favorable both, aesthetically and physiologically. So far, in the follow-up observation that runs fro n 2 months to 2 years and 9 months duration posto-peratively, no recurrences is met with, provided, that the patients originally have no compli-cation such as trichiasis and trachoma which might have been present concommittantly.

In latter cases where complications are present the treatments are more successful when either, Natav's or Hotz's methods are followed.
