眼瞼癌特にその韓移及び惡性度に就いて

Carcinoma of the Eyelid Particularly on its Degree of Causing Metastasis and the Grade of its Malignancy

緒言

　眼瞼癌はさ程珍しい疾患ではなく，本邦文献にて私共の渉猟し得た範囲内で既に220例を越えている。私共は最近の眼瞼癌の趨勢を知る目的で，大正13年から昭和28年迄の30年間に於ける眼瞼癌腫179例に就いては特に詳細に調査を行い，生駒の経験した2例の巨大眼瞼癌腫例に徴して些か検討を加えてみた。

A review of palpebral cancers is made in findings of 220 cases that are reported in the literature with addition of 2 cases by the authors. The area of predilection with which cancer of this part causes metastaris appears to be in the pre-auricular, sub-auricular and sub-mandibular glands in their order. Only 23.6 percent of cases showed metastatic growths in the records of recent 10 years. Metastasis occurring in the liver and the lacrimel glandsis found as a single instance in each case. Palpebral cancers are considered as to be less malignant than cancers occurring elsewhere and the reasons are as follows :
