球後視神經炎の1症例

Retrobulbar Neuritis. A case Report

　球後視神経炎は種々の原因に依つて起るが我国に於ては以前から脚気と密接な関係があるとされ特に軸性視神経炎は石津氏暗点と乳頭耳側の褪色等を認め之は脚気或はV．B欠乏に依り起るとされて居たが，数年前より球後視神経炎の概念に対して再検討を加えるべきであるという意見が現われて居る。之に対して未だ一定の見解を有するものではないが，最近経験した症例に就いて述べる。

A case of retrobulbar neuritis is reported. A farmer's wife, aged 39, complained of a blind spot that occurred in her left eye since 1 year ago. There was also a feeling of numbness that involved the left side of her body and most pronounced on the heel of the left foot. Examination of the patient showed that her vision to be myopic to the extent that registe-red,L-4.0 D and R-8.0D. With opthalmoscopic examination it was revealed on the fundusan area pallid in color to be located in a situation lateral and below the optic disc.
