ヒーロンV®の角膜内皮細胞保護作用―術後1年の観察

Protective effect of Healon V® on corneal endothelial cells one year after surgery

要約　目的：白内障手術で使用するビスコート^®とヒーロンV^®が角膜内皮に及ぼす影響の報告。対象と方法：白内障手術を行った67眼を対象とした。無作為に選んだ33眼にはビスコート^®，34眼にはヒーロンV^®を用いた。術前と術後1，3，12か月に角膜内皮細胞の密度を測定した。結果：術前と術後12か月の角膜内皮細胞密度は，ビスコート^®群ではそれぞれ2,268±369と2,170±417であり，ヒーロンV^®群では2,333±196と2,234±302であった。角膜内皮細胞の減少率は，前者で3.8％，後者で4.2％であり，両群間に有意差はなかった。結論：ヒーロンV^®にはビスコート^®と同様な角膜内皮細胞の保護効果がある。

Abstract.　Purpose：To report the protective effect of Viscoat^® and Healon V^® on the corneal endothelial cells after cataract surgery. Cases and Method：This prospective effect was made on 67 eyes that received cataract surgery. Viscoat^® was used in randomly selected 33 eyes. Healon V^® was used in 34 eyes. Density of corneal endothelial cells,was measured before and up to 12 months after surgery. Results：Density of corneal endothelial cells in Viscoat^® group was 2,268±369 before and 2,170±417 12 months after surgery. In Healon V^® group,it was 2,333±196 and 2,234±302 respectively. Population of endothelial cells decreased by 3.8％ in the former and by 4.2％ in the latter group. The difference was not significant. Conclusion：Healon V^® has a similar protective effect on corneal endothelial cells as Viscoat^®.
