網膜剝離術後感染症の検討

Review of ocular infection after surgery for retinal detachment

要約　過去10年間に琉球大学附属病院眼科で経験した網膜剝離の術後感染を検索した。手術症例の総数は495例544眼である。内訳は男性292例322眼，女性203例222眼で，4眼にアトピー性皮膚炎があった。このうち2例2眼に術後感染が起こった。いずれもアトピー性皮膚炎がある男性で，年齢は25歳と29歳である。術式は強膜バックル術であった。充血，眼脂など感染の症状は，両例とも網膜剝離手術の1週間後に生じた。以上より，アトピー性皮膚炎がある症例に強膜バックル術による網膜剝離手術を行った場合には術後感染が起こりやすいので，術前術後の管理を特に入念に行う必要がある。

Abstract.　We reviewed operated cases of retinal detachment regarding postoperative infection during the past 10 years. The cases totalled 544 eyes of 495 cases. The series comprised 322 eyes of 292males and 222 eyes of 203 females. There were four cases of atopic dermatitis in the series. Postoperative infection developed in 2 eyes of 2 cases. Both were males aged 25 and 29 years. Both had atopic dermatitis. Both had received scleral buckling procedure. Signs of infection developed one week after surgery in both cases. Patients of atopic dermatitis need particular attention as they are prone to develop postoperative infection.
