はじめに

　私共は本症に対し，進行性の症例に対しては，症状，椎管狭小度がいかんであれ，前方椎間固定術にて手術的に対処してきた．

　第1図の症例は45歳の女性で歩行不能，C_2-3-4，C_6-7の混合型骨化で，これらの部で椎間可動性は減少，とくにC₆での骨化は椎管を60％も狭小させ，すなわち40％の狭小椎管となるも，椎間可動部のC_4-5，C_5-6間の固定で正常な歩行まで回復した．
