近年の関節リウマチ(rheumatoid arthritis：RA)に対する薬物治療の進歩に伴い，RAの膝手術は減少してきているが，末期の関節症に対しては人工膝関節置換術(total knee arthroplasty：TKA)が依然として有効な治療方法として行われている．今回，RAに対して行ったTKAの術後成績，術後満足度を調査し，OAに対して行ったものとの比較を行った．RA群ではOA群に比べ，術後activityは低くても術後患者満足度は高いことがわかった．RA患者においても機能回復をいかに高めうるかが今後の課題になると考えられた．
