  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

Two cases of thalamic syndrome associated with vertical nystagmus and oscillopsia, caused by cere-brovascular disease, were reported. These two cases showed the "classical" thalamic syndrome described by J. Dejerine and G. Roussy. Although these two cases were not associated with internuclear ophthal-moplegia, hemiplegia alternans and dissociated sen-sory impairment ; diplopia was noted. Therefore, association of the brain stem lesion is considered in these two cases.
