頭蓋内嚢虫症の治験例

INTRACRANIAL CYSTICERCOSIS: A RARE CASE REPORT IN JAPAN

はじめに

　我国における頭蓋内嚢虫症（cysticercosis）に関しては，明治41年，福島^11）が報告して以来すでに約50例の報告^12）があるが，その大部分が外地帰還者にみられ，特に満州よりのものに多く，かつ現在では著しく減少してきているようである。

　最近われわれは，国内感染と思われる後頭蓋高嚢虫症で，手術により軽快せしめ得た1例を経験したので報告する。

A case of intracranial cysticercosis of domestic source, which rarely infested in Japan, was reported. The patient was a 38-year-old cook who developed visual difficulty, staggering gait, headache in the occipital region and vomiting. On admission he showed bilateral papilledema with retinal hemor-rhage, trunkal ataxia and intention tremor. The posterior fossa was explored. In the cisterna magna many cysts in various size with whitish wall were found and histologically they were confirmed to be cysticercosis. Because of the persistent signs of increased intracranial pressure, a venticulo-atrial shunt was applied. Postoperative course was un-eventful and the patient returned to previous jobas a cook. This case was presumed 8th case ofintracranial cysticercosis of domestic source fromliterature.
