脳腫瘍を思わせた側脳室内血腫症例

CIRCUMSCRIBED INTRAVENTRICULAR HEMATOMA SIMULATING A BRAIN TUMOR

緒言

　脳室内血腫は1955年にAvolとVogel^1）によって報告されて以来，15例の報告がみられる（第1表）。われわれは外傷後，頸部症の症状で始り約1年の経過をもって脳腫瘍の症状を示した側脳室内血腫の1例を経験したので報告する。

A case of intraventricular hematoma in the left lateral ventricle is described in detail. He was a 35 year old man. He had traffic accident on 31st, Dec. 1968. He complained nuchal pain. As sym-ptoms deteriorated over the last month, he admitted our hospital on 24th, Jan. 1970. The clinical find-ings, so that, drowsy state, choked disc, shift of the 111 ventricle echo, intracranial hypertension, carotid and vertebral angiographical findings, and ventriculographical findings, suggest the brain tumor. The left temporo-occipital craniotomy and resection of tumor was performed.

However, pathological findings evidenced an in-traventricular hematoma. and its cause may be thetraffic accident. Then we discussed the intra-ventricular hematoma.
