I. INTRODUCTION 　The autonomic nervous system is involved in the various neurological disorders.

In the peripheral neuropathies due to various causes, sudomotor and vasomotor nerves—the sym-pathetic fibers—may be involved, too, but owing to the troublesomeness in examinations of their integrity, autonomic functions are rarely examined in neurological patients.
