  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

Anisocoria is not rare sign in pulseless disease and it is found in 13 cases of 68 cases in our clinic, but its pathogenesis has been ambiguous. Gonioscopic examination of the dilatated pupil revealed adhesion of the iris root to the Schwalbe's line.

Authors concluded that anisocoria in pulseless dise-ase is not result of oculomotor palsy, nor only that of atrophy of the iris, but shortening of the width of the iris, follwing to the adhesion and elevation of the iris root.
