 Two autopsied cases of postencephalitic Parkinsonism with very long duration of 60 years have been reported. Case 1 is a 68-year-old woman. She suffered from encephalitis at the age of two years. At the age of eight, personality changes, such as irritability, selfishness, rudeness, meddlesomeness, talktativeness and restlessness, appeared. Parkinsonism developed at the age of twenty seven, and was aggravated and became very severe in her fifties and after, Ocular symptoms also occurred. She died of air tract obstruction. Case 2 is a 78-year-old woman. She suffered from a febrile disease in her infancy.
