左心室肥大心に対する薬剤負荷の影響—肥大心と突然死との関連について

　心筋の肥大は負荷に対応する適応現象と考えられ，特に安定期における肥大心では心不全徴候を示す事なく，負荷に対応する能力を有している事を報告して来た^1）。

　しかし，臨床上われわれが経験している肥大心は心臓血管病変ないし他の疾患を合併した不全心ないし病的状態を伴なっており，実験的にも主に剔出心で神経支配が絶たれた状況下での肥大心の研究が行なわれているに過ぎない^4）〜6）。

Left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) was produced by banding the ascending aorta in puppies and we found a high incedence of sudden death following bursts of activity, reminescent of what happens in patients with aortic or supraaortic stenosis. To investigate why this occurs, we measured in 14 dogs with LVH and 10 normal dogs the effects of stress by 5-inute infusions of isoproterenol (I. P.) (1.0 μg/kg/min) and 1-norepinephrine (N. E.) (5.0μg/kg/min).
