大動脈弓，峡部の血管奇形

Anomalies around the aortic arch and isthmus

　大動脈弓および峡部周辺にみられる血管奇形としては大動脈縮窄症，大動脈弓離断症，大動脈弓過長症などが知られている。ただ大動脈縮窄症がこの中でも最も多い疾患であるが，本邦では欧米に比してその頻度が少なく，またその病態も異なっている。さらにその他の近縁疾患は比較的稀であり，これらの疾患を一括して論じた報告は少ないので，ここではわれわれの経験をもとに病態，診断，治療について検討してみた^1）。

Various congenital anomalies involve the region around the aortic arch and isthmus. Those are relatively rare malformations and consist of coarctation of the aorta, interruption of the aorta, elongation of the aortic arch, and kinking of the aortic arch. As the authors have experienced 36 cases of those anomalies up to date, problems about diagnosis, clinical feature, and surgical treat-ment are described and summarized in this paper.

In coarctation of the aorta apparent differences between the adult-type and infantile-type are emphasized.
