The pulsatile blood flow of the arterial system was studied in dogs. A square wave electro-magnetic flow meter was used here under the state most close to the physiological condition at the present stage.
(1) As a conclusion, in large arterial system. with the each heart beat the blood flows to the peri—phery as a mass representing pendulous oscillation. This pendulous movement displayed the pattern of the viscous damped oscillation. And this oscillati—on was augumented, as the flow pulse approached to the periphery. When the heart rate was changed, its resonant frequency was varied in one individual.
