1) We have designed three new methods using photoelectric plethysmograph to study the digital circulatory conditions more ac-curately.
2) By the finger-tip compressing method, we estimated the finger-tip pressure from the pressure level at which the pulse wave disappeared, and differentiated circulatory conditions in the finger-tip such as ischemia, stagnation and edema.
3) By the arterial inflow method, we es-timated the inflowing arterial blood volume into the finger-tips, and differentiated severi-ty of arterial damage, degree of collateral circulation and of venous stagnation.
4) By the oxyhemoglobin index method, we could express numerically the state of the finger-tips, such as paleness, cyanosis or redness.
