Detection and Diagnosis of Colorectal Tumors Using Texture and Color Enhancement Imaging

要旨●大腸内視鏡検査は病変を見逃さないことが重要である．その工夫として反復・反転観察や先端アタッチメントの使用などがある．また，NBIなどの画像強調内視鏡（IEE）は病変の視認性を高め，大腸病変の発見や診断において有用であると数多く報告されている．一方，2020年にTXIという新たなIEEが加わったが，TXIの大腸観察や大腸診断に関する知見は乏しい．本稿では，TXIの原理およびこれまでのTXIに関するエビデンスや使用経験について概説する．

　The detection of colon lesions is crucial during colonoscopy. The use of tip attachment, retroflection view examination, and repeat forward view examination are some tools used to detect these lesions. Additionally, it has been reported that IEE（image enhanced endoscopy）such as narrow-band imaging, is implied in the detection and of colorectal lesions by making them more visible, and hence in the diagnosis. Alternately, a new IEE technique called the TXI（texture and color enhancement imaging）was reported in 2020 ; however, the yield and detection of lesions using this technique is unknown. The fundamental ideas behind TXI are discussed in this article, along with the available data.
