Pathology of Small-intestinal Tumors

要旨●小腸にはさまざまなタイプの腫瘍が発生する．病理組織学的には上皮性と非上皮性に大別され，それぞれ良性または悪性に分類される．これらの病理学的な鑑別診断にはマクロとミクロの形態学的検索の他，免疫組織化学染色を用いた発現形質の検索や臨床情報の収集も必要である．そして，より確からしい診断にたどり着くためには臨床医と病理医による十分な情報共有と意見交換が必要である．

　Varied histological types of tumors have been identified in the small intestine. Histopathologically, small intestinal tumors can be categorized into epithelial and nonepithelial neoplasia, and benign and malignant tumor. Conventional pathological examination and immunohistochemical examination findings as well as various important clinical information are essential for accurate differential diagnosis. Furthermore, close communication between the clinician and pathologist is necessary to enhance the accuracy and quality of the pathological diagnosis.
