Magnifying Endoscopy Simple Diagnostic Algorithm and Interpretation for Gastric Epithelial Neoplasia

要旨●拡大内視鏡検査による早期胃癌診断の単純化アルゴリズム（MESDA-G）は，VS classification systemをもとに作成された本邦の統一診断体系である．本稿では，実際の症例を挙げ，MESDA-Gによる診断の手順およびその読影法について概説した．早期胃癌診断においてMESDA-Gは有用性の高い診断体系であるが，同時にそこに限界病変もあることを知り，通常観察・生検を含め，適切に対応することが重要である．

　In Japan, MESDA-G（magnifying endoscopy simple diagnostic algorithm for early gastric cancer）is a unified diagnostic system created on the basis of the VS classification system. This section presents an actual case and outlines the diagnostic procedure by MESDA-G and its interpretation. In early gastric cancer diagnosis, MESDA-G is a highly useful diagnostic system ; however, concurrently, it is imperative to acknowledge a limitation lesion. Thus, we need to respond appropriately, including endoscopic observation and biopsy.
