X線像で良性，悪性の判断に苦しんだ1例

ONE DIFFICULT CASE TO DIAGNOSE BENIGN OR MALIGNANT ULCER OF STOMACH.

Ⅰ．はじめに

　X線検査で胃潰瘍をみつけると，その大方のものについては，良性か悪性かの判別はつく．しかし，本例のように，X線像では一見悪性のようにみえたり，言い方を変えると悪性も否定できずということもある．こんなとき胃カメラ検査を行なうと，まあ少し経過をみようということもある．そんな例で2カ月間経過をみたところ，きれいによくなったX線像とカメラ像を供覧する．

　It is experienced that the big ulcer of the stomach corpus in aged people heals marvelously. The advanced ulecr, which was doubted to be malignant at first, heals very soon in aged people.

　One case, wich healed in two months leaving linear gutter like above instance was presented with its results of examinations.

　First X-ray examination. Note big niche. Elevation might exist at the bottom of ulcer because transparent image was seen at the centre of niche. Anal side of ulcer had clear margin but oral side had unclear margin. Ulcer had gently-sloping excavation.
