The majority of follicular lymphomas are nodal, but some patients have extranodal ones. We previously pointed out that follicular lymphomas are frequently found in the second portion of the duodenum. The average age of the patients was around 58 years old and there was no gender difference. Compared with nodal ones, duodenal follicular lymphomas were of a lower clinical stage, and most cases showed Grade 1 or 2 according to the WHO classification. VH usage in examination samples revealed that its character was similar to that of MALT lymphoma.
