◆要旨:【目的】若手泌尿器外科医の育成を支援する手術学習教材を開発し,その有用性を明らかにする.【方法】泌尿器科腹腔鏡手術を数分程度でまとめたクリップ動画集を掲載したウェブサイト教材を作成し,3つの大学病院とその関連施設で勤務する修練医を対象に有用性を探るアンケート調査を実施した.【結果】対象者39名のうち,2回以上視聴したのは20名であった.手術理解度・手術スキルの向上の可能性について,あると回答したのはいずれも18名(90.0%)で,多くはスマートフォンを利用し1回10分以下の視聴時間であった.【結論】短時間で学習できる教材は,若手泌尿器外科医の研鑽に有用であり,今後重要な教育方法となる可能性が示唆された.
[Objective]To develop and evaluate a novel surgical learning tool to support the training of urological surgeons.[Methods]An educational website containing a collection of short video clips on urological laparoscopic surgery was developed. A questionnaire survey was conducted to explore the usefulness of this tool among trainee surgeons working at three university hospitals and their affiliated institutions. [Results]Of the 39 participants, 20 watched the video clips at least twice. Eighteen participants(90.0%)indicated that the videos had the potential to improve their surgical understanding and skills. Most participants watched the videos for 10 min or less each time using a smartphone. [Conclusion]Study materials that can be utilized in a short time are useful for training urological surgeons, suggesting that they may become important educational tools in the future.
