foreign body granuloma（FBG）は時折遭遇する術後合併症で，腫瘍性病変との鑑別が問題となる場合がある。今回我々は，増大傾向を示し，奇異な経過を呈したFBGの1例を経験したので，文献的考察を含め報告する。

A man in his 50s with a back pain after cholecystectomy for gallbladder（GB）stones was found to have an enlarged mass at the GB bed on follow–up image evaluations. Contrast–enhanced dynamic CT revealed a poorly enhanced mass at the GB bed and it showed heterogenous hyperintensity on T2 weighted image and diffusion weighted image. The mass was surgically resected and was pathologically diagnosed as a foreign body granuloma containing remnant of local hemostatic agent, which may contribute persistent foreign body granulation reaction accompanied with the lesion enlargement.
