I．はじめに

　Ménière病確実例の経過観察中にMénière病だけでは説明のつかない眼振所見が認められ，精査の結果特殊な型の潜伏眼振が重複したと考えられる症例を経験した。その後2年余にわたる経過観察によっても症状に変化がなく，またCT scanと血管写によって頭蓋内の器質性の病変を否定しえたためここに報告した。

　A 58-year-old woman presented with recurrent vertigenous attacks associated with tinnitus and hearing loss in the left ear.

　At first she was diagnosed as having Ménière's disease. But the electronystagmograms revealed abnormal eye movement that could hardly ever caused by Ménière's disease.

　We had followed up her for three years and at last we found that she had a mild type of latent nystagmus that could only be observed when she looked at the right side with her left eye was covered.

　We considered this case as Ménière's disease associated with latent nystagmus.
