I．はじめに
血管腫は身体各部に発生しとくに顔面頭頸部領域に好発する。このため耳鼻咽喉科医にとっても遭遇することが稀ではない疾患である。しかしながらわれわれは咬筋深部と下顎骨上顎枝との間にある血管腫が，咬合すると右顔面頬部の腫脹を認めさらに倒立による体位変換で同部位の腫脹の程度が増すという興味ある所見を呈した症例を経験した。
またその状態変化をechogramで観察し術前診断としての意義を述べるとともに若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。
A 14-year-old male patient with hemangioma in the left cheek was reported.
Although the tumor was not always apparent, it became enlarged in its size when the patient was chewing. Furthermore, the size of the tumor was increased when the patient stood on his head.
Also, the tumor was observed on ultrasonogram which was thought to be useful as one of the preoperative screening examinations.
