I．緒言

　verrucouscarcinomaは1948年にAckerman^1）が比較的良性な高分化型扁平上皮癌として31例報告して以来，欧米では口腔領域を中心として数多く報告されている。発生部位としては頬粘膜^1〜7），硬口蓋粘膜^1,4,7），歯肉^{1,2,4,5,7,8）}，舌^1,4,9），鼻腔^6）喉頭^{2,4,7,10〜16）}，咽頭^2,10,17），陰部^4）などの報告があるが，喉頭に発生するのは比較的稀といわれており，さらに下咽頭に至ってはわれわれの検索しうる範囲において世界でも3例の報告^2,10,17）を認めるのみであり（表1），本邦においてはまだ報告されていない。

　今回われわれは喉頭，下咽頭に発生した本症を各1例経験したので若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　In the first case, a tumor was present in the larynx and the patient was treated by partial cordectomy. A tumor was fbund in the hypopharynx inthe sccond case and total laryngo.pharyngectomywith bilateral conscrvative neck dissectioll waspcrR) rmcd-The postoperative course was uneventfuland no recurrence was noted in both cases. Ver.rucous carcinoma commonly occurs in the oralcavity and this tumor in the hypopharynx has neverbeen reported ln Japan. The results were analyscdill the available Iitcrature.
