I．はじめに

　耳下腺腫瘍のうち，多形腺腫（混合腫瘍）は60〜80％を占めるが，そのうち5〜30％が癌化すると報告されている^1）。また耳下腺混合腫瘍は，副咽頭間隙に進展する腫瘍の約20〜40％を占める^2,3）。今回我々は，副咽頭間隙より頭蓋底に浸潤し，不幸な転帰をたどった耳下腺悪性混合腫瘍の症例を経験したので，剖検所見および副咽頭間隙に進展した混合腫瘍の統計的考察を加えて報告した。

　In a 66-year-old male, radiological and pathological examinations at first suggested parapharyngeal extention of a benign mixed tumor. However, the patient presented numerous cranial nerve symptoms later and died. Autopsy showed diffuse tumor invasion in the skull base and midbrain without bony destruction, and no distant metastasis. Clinical features of parapharyngeal space tumor were discussed.
