前鼻孔閉鎖症とその閉鎖膜の胎生組織学的所見

OBSTRUCTION OF THE ANTERIOR NARIS BY MEMB-RANE, AND ITS HISTOGENIC STUDY

　I．はじめに

　本邦における前鼻孔閉鎖症は33例報告されている。出本例は既往・術後経過・閉鎖膜の組織像から先天性と考えられ，本邦では第8例目に当り，しかも最年長のきわめて稀な症例である。また閉鎖膜の組織像所見については文献に乏しい。そこで本論文においては切除した閉鎖膜の組織像について詳述し，胎生組織学的考察を行なつた。

　A 72-year-old male, had membrane closing, as a valve, his right naris which remained open as a small vertical space. The membrane was removed and studied from the histogenetic view point. Epithelial cells are squamous or cuboid without cilia. The basement membrane has no papillary body, and the thickness of epithelial tissue is gradually decreased and the nuclei of the cells disappears near by the septum. The rudimentary terminal texture of a nerve can be found in the tunica propria throughout the epithelium.

　They are simular to the undifferentiated embryonal tissue at the 2nd or 3rd month of fetus.
