　私共は気道疾患に含まれるアレルギー性鼻炎の原因として，特に吸入性抗原を重視し，その検索を行つている。吸入性抗原として室内塵，黴類，動物の毛，ふけ，タバコ，古綿等と共に花紛の抽出液を使用している（第1表）。

　ブタクサ花粉（抽出液Ragweed pollen）は1000倍稀釈液を用い，昭和38年1月より12月迄の1年間に亘り，当外来を訪れたアレルギー性鼻炎患者92名に施行した。

Four cases of nasal allergy caused by the ragweed pollen are reported. These patients were treated with intracutaneous injections of 0.02cc of suspension of mixture composed of regweed pollen and house dust diluted to 1,000 times once a week; the treatment was continued for 6 months. Allergic symptoms of these patients were well controlled by this regimen but, the authors plan to observe the patients for the period of ensuing three years with repition of similar treatment at the beginning of each new ragweed season.
