外部からの心臓マッサージを行つた1経験

　Ⅰ．はじめに

　急性の心停止時における心蘇生法は，従来開胸による直接心臓マッサージ法が殆んどであつたが近年非開胸による心蘇生法が行われるようになつた。1960年Kouwenhovenらは，非開胸による外部からの心臓マッサージを施行し，勝れた成績を報告している。それ以来この方法が簡単でありかつ効果的であるので，広く一般に利用されるようになつた。我々も最近，呼吸困難を伴う食道癌の患者に，気管切開を行い，術中急性の心停止を来し，外部からの心臓マッサージを試み，蘇生に成功したので報告する。

Since Kouwenhoven gave report of positive effects by non-surgical external cardiac ma-ssage in 1960 much attention has been cente-red to this method of resuscitation. The authors report a case in whom the patient was resuscitated by external cardiac massage following a sudden cardiac arrest that occured during the progress of tracheotomy. The patient was affected with esophageal cancer and a marked degree of dyspnia. The regain of cardiac acitivity and consciousness at the time were studied carefully along with autopsy notes that were obtained later. The authors emphasize the urgent necessity of establishing means of coping with cerebral anoxia at the time of the revival which should be followed by repeated electroence-phalography.
