最近，気管切開術を必要とした，ジフテリア後麻痺の一症例を経験したので，報告する。
Post-diphtherial paralysis which began wi-th involvement of palatal arch is reported; the patient was a boy aged 9.
The patient suffered symptoms of dyspnea which was apparently not due to muscular paralysis of the organs of respiration such as the diaphragm, intercostal muscles nor that of the larynx but pricipally due to the sputure that could not be properly cleared.
The patient was treated by tracheotomy and drug therapy by use ATP which proved to be quite effective.
