　I．緒言

　最近我国に於て，慢性副鼻腔炎に関する研究が盛んとなつて来たが，吾々も亦上気道感染症の一部として慢性副鼻腔炎の問題を究明し，或結果を得たので報告する。

　研究は病態生理学的立場から，臨床例の分析を試みた。その結果，先ず副鼻腔炎は同時に固有鼻腔粘膜の変化を合併する事が多く，この様な場合にはRhjno-Sinuitisと見徹すべきである事を提唱した。（昭利33年日本耳鼻咽喉科学会総会）然し以上の病的変化は炎症だけに由来するものではなく，従つてRhino-Sinopathieと見倣した方がより妥当である事を知つた。そこで本編に於いては主にRhinopathie即ち固有鼻腔粘膜の変化は如何なる状態を指すものであるかに就て研究を進める事とした。

In cases of sinusitis as a rule changes will be found to be established in the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity proper. The authors propose the term. Rhino-Sinopathie Changes for this condition. In 8 cases of nasal diseases vasomotor-rhinitis is found in 32%. And in which the majority showed increase of nasal discharge and eosinophilia. The peak in the increase in eosinophilia was shown in the age-group 20-30 ; 38% of cases revealed some disturbances in the function of the adrenal glands.
