　Ι．緒言

　片側性声帯炎のうち単純性炎症によつておこつた症例について，或はその成因に関連して，A. Rosenberg以来比較的多数の報告がみれる。我々も亦この単純性片側性声帯炎の数例を経験し，その臨床経過とくにその成因について興味ある知見を得たので，ここに報告し御批判を得たい。

　Toriyama and Fujita from a clinical point of view consider the etiogy of hoarseness which may be established by involvement of one vocal cord to be as follows :

　1. By disturbances in the vasomotor system, case 1.

　2. By disturbances in the balance of functioning of cunieform cartilages and thereby effecting the vocal cords, cass 2.

　3. By abnormal postural strain created by extreme turn of neck to one side during phonation a condition which afforded an undue strain on the opposite vocal cord to which the neck was turned.
