　緒言

　余は最近喉頭の異常転位をきたした前頸部腫瘍で悪性甲状腺腫の臨休診断の下に手術したところ，巨大な嚢腫を伴つた甲状腺腫であつたが，組織学的検索の結果，単なる嚢腫性甲状腺腫ではなくして結節性甲状腺種に伴つた，乳嘴樣嚢腺腫と認むべきものに遭遇した．本腫瘍は稀有な疾患であり，且つ2,3興味ある事柄が認められたので茲に報告する．

KANO reports a case of multilobular, thyro-adenoma in a man aged 38. The patient complained of hoarseness and of a large swelling in the left si-de of his neck. Examination showed this enlarge-ment to be exerting pressure upon the thyroid car-tilage and extending down to the anterior axillary margin at its lower border. With tenative diagno-sis of thyroid malignancy the growth was removed but, it proved to be anomimmense cyst-adenoma of thyroid glands. The true nature of the growth, ho-wever, was obtained by microscopic examination. Following the removal the patient recovered with-out complication excepting for the injury which was incurred to the left recurrent laryngeal nerve.
