I．はじめに

　膠芽腫が稀ではあるが頭蓋外転移を来しうることはいくつかの報告がある^{1-11,13,14）}．今回われわれは未熟な小型腫瘍細胞の増殖が主体となった膠芽腫が肺，心臓に転移し，肺小細胞癌との鑑別に苦慮した症例を経験した．剖検所見に文献的考察を加えて報告する．

An autopsy case of small cell glioblastoma, showing multiple extracranial metastases, is reported with special reference to histopathological differentiation from metastatic small cell carcinoma. Widely spread le- sions in the bilateral lungs were developed after an operation and chemo-radiotherapy for glioblastoma, and the lung lesions led to fatal respiratory failure. Postmortem examination revealed multiple tumors in the lung, lymph nodes, and the heart, as well as local invasion of the primary tumor to the dura, skull, and the scalp. The mechanism of extracranial metastasis of brain tumor is discussed.
