I．はじめに

　本邦では現在経口避妊薬は，月経周期異常，月経困難症，避妊などの目的で使用されているが，市販はされていない．欧米では血液凝固能亢進や静脈血栓症などが副作用として報告されており，一般に市販されているためか，副作用の報告例数も多いが，本邦ではまだ非常に稀である．今回著者らは経口避妊薬の服用が原因と考えられた脳皮質静脈と深部静脈の血栓症を経験したので，若干の考察を加え報告する．

The entity of cerebrovascular diseases associated with the use of oral contraceptives is well known but quite rare in Japan in contrast to Western countries. We recently encountered a 38 years old female with cerebral venous thrombosis considered to he caused by oral contraception.

This patient took oral cantraceptives for 17 days following therapeutic abortion, and was transferred to our hospital because of disturbed consciousness. CT scans disclosed a right tempro-occipital subcorti-cal hemorrhagic infarction and bilateral thalamic in-farction. Cerebral angiograms showed non-filling cf cortical veins in the same area.
