I．はじめに

　外傷性浅側頭動静脈瘻は，Winslow^30）以来，本邦報告15例^{3-15,20,22-28）}を含め，現在までに59例^1,3-30）を数えることができるが，開頭手術を契機として発生した深側頭動静脈瘻の報告は，現在までみられていない．

　われわれは，開頭手術を契機として発生し，頸動脈撮影にて6年間にわたり，その発達増大が観察された深側頭動静脈瘻の1手術治験例を経験したので症例を報告するとともに，発生原因について若干の考察をする．

A case of traumatic arteriovenous fistula of the deep temporal artery following a craniotomy of the frontotemporal region has never been reported.

The patient in the present case was a 51-year-old man. lie was admitted to our hospital because of a sudden onset of unconsciousness followed by left hemiparesis. After admission a right middle cerebral artery aneurysm was demonstrated by right carotid angiography, and neck clipping for the aneurysm was done on April 11, 1973.
