Abstract 文献概要

　ここに報告する症例は，壮年期に発病し，進行麻痺に似た症状を呈して，慢性に経過した結節性灰白質脳炎の1例である。分類困難な脳炎例で，Pette-Döring型脳炎に近似の症例と考えられるが，類似のものを原ら^6），Kersting^9）が報告している。そこで私たちは次に本例の臨床・脳病理所見を記したのちに，これらの2例と比較し，臨床・病理像について若干の考察を試みたい。

　A case of chronic nodular polioencephalitis was reported clinicopathologically.

　Male, aged 48 years, developed hiccup in 1962 when he was 41. In 1964, at the age of 43, he complained of diplopia for some time. From this time on the patient became forgetful and more careless at his work. In 1966, at the age of 45, speech and gait disturbance appeared. From October the patient became completely inattentive and quit his job.
