　71歳男性．他院入院中に，尿道カテーテルを留置．抜去後も排尿時痛などが遷延していると当院初診．尿検査にて膿尿があり，下部尿路感染症と診断し，セフジトレンピボキシルを投与．尿培養検査でRaoultella ornithinolyticaが陽性であった（10⁶CFU/mL）．

Abstract

A urinary catheter was inserted in a 71-year-old man for the treatment of carotid artery obstruction at another hospital. He visited our hospital with the chief complaint of prolonged painful micturition after the removal of the catheter. We diagnosed the patient with lower urinary tract infection because of pyuria in urinary sediment and accordingly prescribed cefditoren pivoxil. Urine culture was found to be positive for Raoultella ornithinolytica (Rinsho Hinyokika 74 : 1057-1059, 2020).
