　症例は80歳，男性と67歳，女性。両症例とも神経因性膀胱にて尿道カテーテルを留置されていた。外来でのカテーテルの定期交換中，発熱，左水腎症を認め当科に紹介となった。いずれの症例も腹部CTにて尿道カテーテル先端が左尿管口に入り込み，尿管口を閉塞，左水腎症をきたしている所見が認められた。尿道留置カテーテルを先端の短い腎盂カテーテルに交換のうえ，抗菌化学療法を施行したところ症状は改善，軽快・退院となった。

We report two cases of ureteral obstruction caused by an indwelling urethral catheter. 80-year-old man and 67-year-old woman with indwelled urethral catheter because of neurogenic bladder, visited at our hospital because of high fever. Abdominal CT examinations showed left hydronephrosis and the tip of the urethral catheter entering into left ureteral orifice. We changed urethral catheter to another type, short tip type, nephrostomy catheter and performed antibiotic therapy. Their condition improved immediately.
