一施設における男子尿道炎患者の推移

　1991年（平成3年）1月から1999年（平成11年）12月に当科外来を受診した男子尿道炎患者の臨床的統計を行った。1991年（平成3年）から1995年（平成7年）にかけては，尿道炎は減少傾向にあったが，1996年（平成8年）から増加傾向に転じた。その特徴として，淋菌性尿道炎の著明な増加があり，1998年（平成10年）では23例中15例，1999年（平成11年）では26例中21例と過半数に，淋菌感染を認めていた。そして淋菌の感染原としては，風俗店における咽頭よりの感染が多くを占めていた。

We studied the cases of male urethritis as sexual transmit-ted disease in our hospital from 1991 to 1999. Decrease ofthe number of patients was found from 1991 to 1995, butfrom 1996, because of the prevalence of gonococcal ure-thritis, the nurnber of patients had increased obviously.About Half of the cases, gonococcal urethritis was infectedat the chance of oral sex practiced as prostitution. Enlighten-ment of prevention against STD is necessary for youngpeople.
