I．緒言

　尋常性疣贅に精製痘苗の有効なことは，野口の報告以来多数の報告で知られているが，その成績は報告者によつて差があり，なお確実な治療法とは考えられていない。私は経験上注射法如何が効果を左右することを知り，従来一般に行われている局所少量分割注射法に対し，始めより可及的大量を，疣贅部が完全に白変するように局所皮内注射することにより，注射部位の疣贅についてはほぼ確実に治癒させ得ると考えるに至つたので，未だ少数例ではあるが報告する。

Although the usefulness of local injection of purified vaccine lymph (PVL) for the treatment of verruca vulgaris has been reported by many authors, the results were not always same and it is not regarded as a sure therapeutic method.

The author found that the result depends on an amount of PVL and injection technique. It is important that from the first a large amount of PVL as much as possible is injected into the tumor until it becomes whitish.

With this method, 14 in 18 cases were completely cured, and the therapeutic effect was excellent in 2, satisfactory in 1, and unsatisfactory in 1 case. The author believes that verruca vulgaris is surely to be cured by local injection of PVL and this treatment deserves revaluation.
