　はじめに

　外耳道腫瘍は，頭頸部腫瘍の中では比較的頻度が少ないといわれている^1,2）。また，耳痛，耳漏などの外耳炎と同じ症状で発症するため，診断に時間を要する。今回われわれは，慢性難治性外耳炎，鼓膜炎に対する鼓膜形成術後に発生し，術前には腫瘍を疑い得なかった外耳道基底細胞上皮腫の1症例を経験したので報告する。

A 46-year-old female suffered from otorrhea of the left ear since 1993. She underwent tympano-plasty in her left ear. After operation the ear canal stenosis and pain were appeared. A canaloplasty was performed and the histological examina-tion revealed basal cell epithelioma. It seemed that operative stimulation caused this tumor. She had been free from recurrence after operation.
