　はじめに

　最近，性風浴の変化ともに，従来は耳鼻咽喉科領域でみられなかったような病原体によって様々な病態が引き起こされ，こうした感染症患者が直接にわれわれのところを受診するようになった。本邦でも口蓋扁桃，中耳腔や頸部リンパ節などからChlamydia trachomatis（以下C．trachomatis）を検出した報告^1〜4）がある。今回，C．trachomatis尿道炎の既往のある成人男性で，C．trachomatisによると思われる頸部リンパ節腫大をきたした症例を経験したので文献的考察を加え報告する。

A 29-year-old male presented with multiple lymph nodes swelling in the right upper neck. About 1 year ago, he was treated for Chlamydia trachomatis urethritis at another urogenital clinic. Histological study of these lymph nodes revealed chronic inflammation with polynuclear giant cells, epithelioid cell and central necrosis. Levels of serum IgG and IgM against C.trachomatis strongly sug-gested that the swelling of the cervical lymph nodes were due to C.trachomatis infection.
