はじめに

　中枢性めまいは，耳鼻咽喉科診療所^1）と大学病院^2）など施設により頻度のばらつきが大きいものの生命にかかわる可能性があり注意を要する疾患である（図1）。今回，当院にて末梢前庭性めまいを疑い，画像診断，神経学的所見により小脳病変を認めたWaldenströmマクログロブリン血症の1例を経験したので報告する。

　A patient with vertigo was considered as having peripheral vestibular vertigo from nystagmus findings and pure tone audiogram. But the patient was also showing the abnormal neurological findings. Then the patient underwent emergency head CT, and we have found a cerebellar tumor associated with Waldenström macroglobulinemia. In vertigo patients, the disease from the central nervous system is relatively rare. While taking detailed neurological findings, a cerebellar tumor in should be put mind.
