慢性副鼻腔炎，上顎癌患者のNK細胞の検討

Natural Killer Cells in Patients with Chronic Sinusitis and Maxillary Cancer

I．はじめに

　上顎癌患者に慢性副鼻腔炎の既往歴の多いことが報告^1）されている。Burnet^2）は発癌における免疫監視機構（immunological survcillance）の仮説を提唱したが，著者らは慢性副鼻腔炎患者の免疫監視機構に興味をもち，慢性副鼻腔炎ならびに上顎癌患者血清中，鼻汁中免疫抑制酸性蛋白（im—munosupprcssive acidic protein，以下IAPと略称）値が高値を示すことを報告^3）した。今回はtwo-colorフローサイトメトリー分析^4,5）を用いて慢性副鼻腔炎，上顎洞癌およびその他の鼻副鼻腔悪性腫瘍患者末稍血中のnatural killer （NK）活性細胞を測定し検討した。

Natural killer (NK) activity cells of patients with chronic sinusitis and maxillary cancer were observed by means of two-color flow cytometry.

Fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) and phyco-erythrin (PE) labelled monoclonal antibodies were used in these studies.

High score of Leu 7-11⁺ suggesting of high NK activity cells was observed in 6 of 8 patients with chronic sinusitis and 3 of 6 patients with maxillary cancer.

Low score of Leu 7-11⁺was observed in one patient with maxillary cancer.

These results might be helpful to investigate chronic sinusitis and maxillary cancer patients from a view point of immunological surveillance.
