Ⅰ　はじめに

　過誤腫は正常器官の1つないし複数の組織構成要素が過剰に増生した混合異常であり，良性の非腫瘍性奇形である^1）。全身どこにでも発生し，特に肺，腎，小腸に多く^2），鼻副鼻腔領域の発生はきわめて稀である^3）。

　Respiratory epithelial adenomatoid hamartoma（REAH）は1995年にWenigら^4）により初めて報告された鼻副鼻腔領域に発生する稀な病変である。今回われわれはREAHの1例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　A 64-year-old man was complaining of 7 or 8-year history of nasal obstruction and rhinorrhea. CT showed abnormal soft tissue densities in the nasal cavity,ethmoid and maxillary sinuses bilaterally. Polypoid masses were found in olfactory clefts and middle meatus by endoscopic observation. The patient underwent endoscopic sinus surgery under general anesthesia. The pathological diagnosis was respiratory epithelial adenomatoid hamartoma.

　Awareness of this rare disease is important since it is confused with neoplastic lesions like inverted papilloma and sinonasal adenocarcinoma as well as inflammatory nasal polyps.
